The Workout

The Workout is based on multi-disciplinary & radically effective methodology. Using your own bodyweight and kettlebells, you will learn the proper forms and techniques for strength training through an interval format that will train your cardiovascular system and increase your overall sense of wellbeing and health.

We’re located right in the village square, neighbors to some of our favorite fellow local businesses, with the Farmer’s Market right outside our door May-Oct.

ABOUT US
If we haven’t yet met, we’re Sam & Cath — the humans behind this literal mom & pop shop. We met in a yoga studio, and since then we have taught side by side for 10 years, first in Washington, DC, and around the world in places like Sydney, Australia, the French Alps, and Costa Rica (and of course, online!).
And we couldn’t imagine a more special place than Kinderhook to open our studio, raise our family, and be of service to a community.

A kind reminder about our Reservation Policy: Give yourself the space and grace to arrive to class in an easeful way.
We don’t want you to rush into class, we want you to be able to arrive in an easeful way. If you arrive after class has started, it’s always worth heading upstairs—we’ll do our best to make space for you if we can. That said, as a small studio with limited spots per class, we’re not able to guarantee your spot if you arrive after the start time.
To help everyone have the best experience possible, here’s how you can ensure your spot:
Reserve your class ahead of time. Weekend and peak season classes tend to fill up quickly, and we often run waitlists.
Arrive 15 minutes before class. This gives you time to get settled and signed in without feeling rushed.
If you’re not physically present at class start time, your reserved spot may be given to someone on the in-studio waitlist.
We kindly ask for your understanding as we work to make class accessible to everyone who reserves and arrives on time. Give yourself the space and grace to arrive with ease—it’s such a beautiful way to honor your practice and create room for your fellow Villagers.
Please remember to use the public parking available in the spots in front of Village Yoga, on the street, and in the public lot across the street.
